How do I do with all these phasers?
So I got a bunch of white phases like 6 of them, can I sell them off? if so where?
I don't have a salvage option for them.

The only option on right click is discard

Gonna guess you're playing a Fed toon... So you wanna head to the Requisitions & Exchange area.. They sell Commodities, common ground equipment and consumable Devices like Hypos/Shield charges...

Easy to find from the transport pad on Earth Spacedock.. Stay left as you walk down ramp as you head to the Bank/Exchange area..

Also places like the D-Sync-9 station Quark (in his bar) will buy anything that can be sold to NPC Vendors, as will any bartender/chef NPC... Your ship also has a bartender/chef if you visit bridge and head to the crew deck if your ship has an interior (lots do, many only have a bridge though)

Those are known as "stock" ship weapons.. They come loaded with a ship.. Most of them is best to toss away, in favor for ones you either get from story/mission content rewards or ones that you craft/buy... Since they have no value nor are they worth upgrading (if they're the type that can be)..

When i get a new ship i'll drydock it which dumps everything on it into your inventory, then i'll pull it back out and either use it for storing ship equipment or take it out for use... Then discard the crap from your inventory from the ship...

Discard does give you percentage of EC for any object that has an EC value, it give the same amount that the recycle tab of the replicator. If you recycle junk with some vendor, they pay you a triffle more EC. The standard default ship gear that is loaded on ship when you first buy them has 0 ec value. So you get zero for discarding them. Some gear don't show up in Recycle either, so you have to just discard them manually. If you can sell the junk item on the Exchange, do so, just don't post it for the value that you could get by selling it to a vendor. If the item is bound to account and you have Shared Bank, you can pass that item to an alt on your account.

FYI, the standard items that come with ships have zero value to prevent farming (you can claim, discharge and reclaim ships indefinitely). Therefore you can only discard them.

Discard is essentially the same thing as selling to vendors, but with slightly less money. I personally don't bother going to vendors....after a certain point (financially) EC from loot is rather irrelevant. You start salvaging at some point anyway which is needed to re-engineer items.

NPCs give more ec for items that you recycle that fit what they sell, the ship item vendor at the shipyard gives more for junk ship parts and less for ground gear, and vise versa a ground gear vendor gives less for ship parts. The bartender might give more than your replicator for any items you sell it, but not as much as the right vendor.

Exchange selling is far better than selling it to any vendor. Anything that is uncommon or above in rarity sells eventually if you price it lower than what is in there. Some common things like mk xii tetryon guns and ship weapons can sell, since there is an endeavor for tetryon damage on ground and space.
