Vanity items for GPL (latinum exchange on DS9, Drozana, Risa atleast).

No such thing as free Zen. Either buy it with real money, or exchange dilithium to Zen. You can find the exchange on your assets tab.

Exchange rate maxxed out today though (due to Mudd thing and other black friday stuff), so not a good deal atm (1:500).

There is a vendor that takes latium at each bar, go and look at the junk they sell there. Vanity is the proper word for all items in the latium store.
You can use latium for some duty officer quests.

GPL is mostly useful for gambling away to complete your daily Personal Endeavors when one of them is "Win x GPL playing dabo". I doubt they'll ever make GPL more useful at this point... they'll just keep adding new currencies and progress counters. The more the merrier, apparently.

I normally play Dabo when i'm Crafting... Helps pass the 5 mins a little faster..

You can use GPL for Holo Emitters that each have a 1 hour running time per Emitter, There are ones for both Ground and Ship.. They do nothing but change how you look.. Ground ones like the Borg Drone though will have movement limits (Every seen a Borg Drone running? yeah can only walk, slowly when that emitter is active)

Also for players who like having outfit options GPL can get you the awesome Clubbing outfit, and is also is a VERY Limited where it can be worn, ESD is one shockingly, Risa and Drozana (I think that is it).. The Shuffle Dance though can be done anywhere..

Were people tend to randomly set one off in crowded spaces (bank/exchange consoles)..
I sometimes enjoy running around setting them off everywhere I can..

Also long long ago in time before fleets had holdings/assets that they could gather together and the Devs took the time to design the interior of ships, fleets used to gather on a member's ship for fleet gathering etc, where the owner of the ship could have on display for everyone to see (can only be seen in their ship) GPL Trophies of GPL Slips, Ingots, Bars, Bricks or a Pile (Stacked)
