Fleet ships

If I buy fleet ships, will I be able to use them account wide (provided I have the fleet creds and space)? And also, when will STO's own summer sale come?

Fleet ships are bought and used on a per character basis. So if you buy a fleet ship on one toon you won't be able to just claim on any other, they also must buy the fleet ship in question.
And while it's not really a "Sale" per say, the Summer Event (the Lohlunat Festival) allows you to work on a special project that unlocks a free account wide ship. This year it's the T6 remake of the Risian Corvette. You can read more about it here:

Yup... Fleet ships work the same way as Lobi ships do, in that they unlock only for the character that bought them..

Depends. If you're going for ones that you don't own the non-fleet version of, two T6 plus T5 change.

Personally, I tend to recommend people go for two T6s they love the look and/or pleaystyle, but that have such a terrible trait in their regular version nobody in their right would ever consider buying them.

I just bought the temporal cruiser, since I already had the Captain one and am now cruising around in an upgraded and powerful Gemini Class vessel with TOS phasers and all. Thanks for your help guys!

its still 4 free t6 ships per character , just takes a lot grinding of rep

You can get a total of 13 Fleet ship modules.. The best Fleet T6 ships costing 5 modules and 20k FC.. And the run of The Mill Fleet T6's costs 4...

And if you have bought ship of the same Class/Type from the Zen store then the module cost is reduced..
