And I don't have an overflow bag... plenty of space in my inventory and no crates with ships.. :(

Are you of a proper rank to be flying those ships? Because I'm pretty sure the 3 Battlecruisers are all T6, no?
If I'm right, you need to have a very high rank to fly those. Could that be the problem?

Just shooting wild here, you don't give much information about your level and which BC's you bought.

Some of the ships in those packs are indeed faction specific so you must play as Starfleet, Romulan or Klingon respectively and level the characters up to the point where you can fly them.

I have noticed on a couple of occasions when claiming reputation assignment awards the items have taken some time to show up in my inventory - maybe it's just a slow database. If they never show up and your characters are compatible with the ships then you obviously must raise a ticket.

It depends on the faction, how many Active ship slots you have, and your toon's current level... Tier 6 Ships are 50+ and if it's cross-faction, the ship could be in your actives at ESD, DS9, New Romulus, or Qo'noS depending on your toon's alliances. The only Race that can use any type of cross-faction specific ships are the Romulans depending on whether they're Fed or KDF Alligned... Also, I agree with |x|SiriuS|x|, without more information, it's a bit difficult to know which pack you purchased...

I just started playing the game, when I went to check what ships I could buy i looked at the T6 cross faction battle cruiser pack.. it didn't say i had any restrictions on using the ships! I'm currently a liententant (5) ... are you guys trying to say it let me buy ships with REAL money that I can't use until i'm lvl 50? when I have NO characters on the account at that level? REALLLY?

Even now when I look at that package in the store it says "AVAILABLE" and NOTHING about level restriction, onlygives me the option to "CLAIM" the package.. I hit claim and green text goes across my screen saying "transaction seccussful" ........ but the claim button stays there and i can hit it 100x times with the same results. That doesn't sound like a level restriction issue.. sounds like a bug.. no?

I'm starfleet so I should be able to use the T6 Aribiter.. correct?

Ok, so it let you purchase the ship pack, even though you don't have a toon at level 50? I really don't think I've ever had that issue, but yes, if you're a Federation toon and you are Vice Admiral or higher, Tier 6 Starships are able to be used, but you have to meet the level requirements, which isn't too difficult to get to if you play through the story arcs and do some STFs.... Doff Assignments also help a little bit with leveling as well, but if you have any in-game friends or a fleet, see if they'll help level rush you...

You can only use the T6 arbiter when you unlock that ship's tier.

As of right now, you are a leiutenant (level 5). This means you can claim Tier 1 (500 zen) ships.

When you get to level 10, that will allow you to claim Tier 2 (1000 Zen) ships, as well a prior purchased Tier 1 ships

When you get to level 20, that will allow you to claim Tier 3 (1500 Zen) ships, as well a prior purchased Tier 1 and Tier 2 ships.

When you get to level 30, that will allow you to claim Tier 4 (2000 Zen) ships, as well a prior purchased Tier 1 , 2, and 3 ships.

When you get to level 40, that will allow you to claim basic Tier 5 (2500 Zen) ships, as well a prior purchased Tier 1, 2, 3, and 4 ships.

When you get to level 50, that will allow you to claim Tier 6 ships (3000 Zen) ships (like the arbiter), as well a prior purchased Tier 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 ships

STO has always been this way, in that you can only claim ships you have leveled to. It's pretty easy to level. The claim button means you claimed the package, which unlocked the ships in the C-store for use when you get to the appropriate rank. When you bought the pack, you bought the ability to unlock the ships in the pack for free. This does not result in a level restriction because you're not actually claiming anything.

Yup you guys are right.. it let me purchase ships none of my toons will be able to use for some time (not sure how long it will take for lvl 50). I'm going to play through the game since i really like it BUT it seems awefully stupid to allow a account to buy things it can't use... It should have denied the purchase and directed me to lower tier ships!

Thing is, allowing you to buy a pack of ships while not having characters of that level makes sense. For example, the Temporal Starter Packs give you a T1 and T6 ship, so one can buy it no matter their level because it has a low level ship. Under your logic, you'd have to have a Klingon, Romulan, and a Fed char at level 50 in order to buy the T6 Battlecruiser Cross-Faction bundle, because otherwise you couldn't use all the ships in the bundle.

What you just said makes ZERO sense.. if the package has a a ship that I could use then of course I should be able to buy it.. This is NOT the case the package has ZERO ships I can use.. you mean to tell me they can't code the logic to check ships in a package and allow/deny purchases based on player charactors on the account that is trying to buy it? give me a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ break.. that's just lazy as ♥♥♥♥.. and very bad customer service.

It does tell you what ships you can't use only it doesn't exactly tell you what ships you can't now use but will soon be able to - no real loss since, particularly if you're like me, you'd probably want to play the whole campaign again once over if not for the dilithium just to see what difference it makes in another ship . Depending on how much you play the game I'd guess 1-3 weeks to get to lvl 50 and once you do there's still a fair chunk of game left anyway to zoom about your new ships with.

Personally i apperciate when a site gives me the benefit of doubt to have done my due diligance & understand how my purchace can be used!
There is far too much babysitting behaviour going on. On & off the net.
"Are you sure you want to Proceed?" followed by "Please confirm your request" etc etc. "Attention!! Peanut Butter MAY contain Nuts"...

You purposefully purchased Top Tier/ Max Level(End Game) gear for your Beginner (Peon) character. I do not know what games you have previously played to make you believe that this would work out.
It Should take almost no time or effort at all to understand that T6 Ship = lvl50 Vice Admiral/Faction equivelant character).

I do not mean to sound harsh.

Maybe they could clearly specifiy the relevance between Tiers & Character lvl on Store Bundles/Packages but the info is there when you look at the ships individually.

+ It is not unreasonable for any MMO Dev (especially F2P) to assume that anyone who is willing to put money into their game will continue to play beyond reaching endgame.

Means temporal i can just use it for a few days, or does it mean the pack is just avaible for a few days?

In this case, it's a theme of the game - Temporal Agents are Timecops, simply (and stupidly) put.
There are Temporal ships (from the Star Trek future) and stuff.

So no, none of the packs you actually BUY are only "temporal". They are just called that way to fit the theme.

Yeah but you WILL BE able to use them, and on every toon you play afterwards (depending on faction of course). you simply need to get to the appropriate level, as has been said.

In that way, it DOES make sense, because you may already have a max level / appropriate level toon, see? Or you know you can't use them yet, but know you can later. Then it would make NO sense to forbid the purchase.

It's fine as it is - you now have beast ships to look forward to once you get there, and it won't take all that long.

Also, it's on you pretty much, since the game tells you straight you won't be able to use the stuff until a certain level.

You have lost nothing and everything is in order - things actually work as intended (I know there's a joke in there, but I can't be bothered).

The ships are on your account, ready to be used by the properly ranked and factioned toons.
