Damn this mountain pass mission!!!!!

I've wasted way too much time on this reputation mission now. Been trying to start it for the last 4 hours. First I tried to figure it out on my own. (I think I accidentally discarded the secret shuttle codes), finally conceeded and looked it up. Found many disgruntled players complaining about it, found a Youtube video by the doctor, telling me to talk to some civilian at the mountain pass transporter, but all I can find are these two goons who have no time to chat.

Definitely lost the codes. Have to bring up my level 15 char to go through the whole thing again just to get the codes to activate the mission activation. Has anyone else experienced this dilema? Keep in mind that I have no mind. I operate on pure impulse control, and my mind told me to get rid of the codes so I got rid of the codes. Welcome to my world.

The secret shuttle codes are Activated when you are on New Rom Vastam Peaks. You go to the Mountain passage and find the invisible wall in the pass. the mission is called Mountain Base.
i went up there Without the Vastam Peaks mission but had the Secret shuttle Codes mission on In Progress, Could not get the door entrance to Mountain Base. When i had the Vastam Peaks mission, the door entrance was there.

Actually i tried to Drop secret shuttle code mission first but could not, you can just Hide it.

According to the Mountain Base wiki page you talk to the Romulan Civillian First, At the Transporter pad in Vastam Peaks.

Yes, I r3ad all that. I discarded the codes by accident. They are gone. I can't retrieve them. They are awarded by completing tier 2, I'll go back to the V' peaks, and see if the civillian will let me start the mission without the codes, but last time I was there I could find no one who would give me the mission.

If you Deleted the mission, i don't think there is a way to get it back. I am not sure how you deleted the mission either, i tried and could not delete it.

regarding deleting the mission, can't it's permanent until I solve it. since I cannot without the code I must just delete this char.

...discarded codes by pressing discard when at replicator. did it by impulse. wanted to see what would happen and if I ever needed them. found out.

It was an mission giving object that you deleted?

Yep. Should have been stuck in my inventory so someone like me could not delete it, but if it can be done, bet on me to do it.

well you don't miss anything not completeing Mountain Base mission, no need to delete captain because you missed it.

Maybe so, but that mission will never go away. can't drop it, it will always be a reminder of what a nerd I am. Like I need one more reminder of that :)

And what about progressing to the next tier? will not doing this mission prevent me from getting to tier 3 so I can get that stupid reman advanced shield?

lol, yes, I read that, but it does not say what to do if you don't have the secret codes to begin the mission with.

No it would not block your New Rom reputation. That mission more like an optional backstory.

I guess i need to play my Rom captain through the New Romulus missions and rep. Currently my 23c Temporal Agent Science Captain is the only one that has the rep for the New Rom, and on track to reach tier 5 soon.
