how do I make my characters look like the tos characters

He wants his character and bridge officers to look like Kirk and crew. I think that's against STO's TOS but I might be wrong.

Edit: I know it's against the Foundry TOS but I'm not sure it's against STO's TOS.

are people saying that in a star trek game, its a violation of the TOS to make them look like characters from TOS? They must have the license though, seem to vaguely remember playing long time ago and seeing a memorial to boothby from the TV show in the garden at the academy so if that is there from the TV show why cant people make TV a crew that look like crews from the TV show?

Cause people's likenesses are usually not something that are given as part of a license (far as I know someone's likeness is owned by said person)? I know there's a reason for it just can't phrase it.

@wisecasper, you could get a La Forge Photonic Boff from STLV this year, not the TOS holocrew as far as I know.

Correct, but it was last year that was the TOS anniversary and I think that was given out last year. Unless my concept of time is off.

They also gave it away recently as part of a promo where you could also get holo admiral Leeta. I got the TOS crew then.

I suspect it's fine, as long as you don't make them look realistic and create a feature length roleplay film that you charge people to watch including any actual TOS content, you're probably ok keeping it for personal enjoyment only. Copyright infringement is usually only pursued from people making money out of it. It's not proportunate to attempt to extract money from someone who has none.

I have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue wat I did, I never did any special events ingame, i didnt buy anything, I didnt go to any public events. I have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue how I got it.

Was it from me being a lifetime member for some special event or something?

Nah, we don't really know why people got it while others didn't. Cryptic never says why people qualify for promotions.

I honestly dont know. I stopped playing for like, a day or two so duty officers and admirality missions would 100% finish, came back and saw that I had it.
