Hunting Voth

This post is all about hunting down and driving those evolved dinosaurs back into extinction. I welcome any posts that advance the objective in any way.

I have discovered that Phasers do hurt the Voth, however, now that I have a complete (well, almost complete) set of Solanae gear, I will kill all Voth that dare to show up on my radar. Soon I will test a full load of Tet beams. I'm looking to stock a row of epic beams.

No they arnt very good as they are squishy as heck. The problem with a lot of them are their durability. I recommend starting with the Delta Flyers for normal ships, but for yours you REALLY want those Mesh Weavers (they arnt there for me cus I dont have a Tholian ship).

The advanced or elite ones might be better, but when you start having the coesive build, you will stop using them as I did. (I have them too and used them for a bit). ALTHOUGH at these price levels, maybe just buy one of each and try them out? :D When looking for advanced or elite versions though you REALLY got to think, they are expensive as hell.

Tet hurts Voth tremendously. They can't handle it. At least this works good for now on the Reservations/Deep Space Outpost mission. Now for the real test, the ambush.

Remember those rear beams dont work unless you shoot broadside, which the beam banks cant do.

Nope. I got blowed up by the last ship. Need a little more adjustments but don't have any more EC now. I spend $200.00 on this c-rapola. What a world!

Thank you, I'll keep it in mind when getting into firing positions.

Thats why torpedos and other weapons dont work well with beam arrays. With the exception of say the Wide Angle Quantum Torpedo launcher.

It shoots okay at the corners just as well as from broadides. Still need some adjustments to something. I'm going to try to upgrade some more things, like the consoles, and add some hull plating of some kind. Also, I don't have the energy distribution manifold, maybe that might be the missing piece.

Consider putting into Nukara rep for more tetryon stuff, also you will see more episodes with gear sets that can be put in those slots as well.

That warp core came bundled with a ship only available on the 4th anniversary event. They did the same with the Kobali Samsar. You can't get it anymore. Any other warp core can be put in it's place.

You still didnt discover that any single weapon type works against any single type of enemy and that most enemies dont have any specific resistance to any energy type??? amazing...

Almost ready to head out into the mission again, and forgot I had an empty Tac slot. Now it's gonna be another hour to figure out what I would like to put there. Any suggestions?
