How to join a Red Alert?

Hey guys. little problem/question i have. here and then i often found a Red Alert on the map with borg or tholians for example. but when i fly to them nothing happens. either i do something obvious wrong or my game is glitched

hmm.. it should say "Join Tholian Red Alert Queue" Maybe you're not high enough level to use play the queue?

which is the level requirment? i am lvl 35 right now. Do i need to be higher?

from what I'm reading, I think it's minimum level 50.

You can still fly to them, however.

No, it's still broken. The issue is that those who use the queue won't join those who used sector space.

Yea I just use the queue system now. I'm too lazy to fly to them. Do they not balance up low levels anymore?

I remember a long time ago flying to a random borg thing in sector space and going straight into it and dying alot as I watched some other guys tag team a borg tac cube.

Was that an actual thing? Am i just imagining things?

Red Alerts used to be accessible at lower ranks. They probably changed that when they changed red alerts from an intant-type thing to a queue.
