Suliban Cell Ship
I looked at the Suliban Cell Ship and I was thinking about a few things before buying since you can equip the Suliban bridge on a starship or a shuttle as a bridge so you don't need to use the crappy ship does it work the same way for transwarp? Does the transwarp destinations just get added to the list of transwarps you already have? Or do you need the ship equiped to access it?

"Transwarp Drive with Exploration Cluster destinations pre-programmed. These include all Clusters except those specific to the opposing faction. Like many older Transwarp drives, the Cell Ship's Transwarp has a small chance to fail when traveling to Cluster destinations. A failure causes no ill effects, though the ship does not move and the transwarp cooldown timer begins."- Got this off of the wiki

Nothing goes without the cell ship, special bridges have always been bound to their respecitve ships and the transwarp is also a innate ability.
If you're really desperate for transwarp locations get the T3 Excelsior, it's console can be used on any ship and also gives you a bunch of extra warp locations.

Or just wait till you've got some reps & the diplomacy/marauding up to unlock certain transwarp locations.

Also, commodities discount?? nowadays nobody is worried about that lol. The fact that, with the aldmiraldty system you dont even need to buy commodities anywhere.

Yup, afaik commodities are being phased out completely at some point. Fleet holdings already dumped them (which was the biggest reason to hoard them).

I will be honest, the only commodities I use at this point are contraband, provisions and medical supplies. The first one is obvious why, the latter are for re-settling colonists.

If you are talking about the sulliban bridge, you cant place it in your other ships.. lockbox ships have unique bridges. They are not faction-bound.
I swear it said on the wiki that I could do that with this ship.

I have a similar ship, the Tuffli freighter. And it never allowed me to use its bridge on other ships and neither did any of the other ships with unique bridges since then.

In my humbler opinion, the only reason to get a Suliban ship is to help yourself, or others, get the special duty officers available inside it. If you have that much disposable income (ingame) and you have people you want to help, then by all means get it.
The reasons for not getting it are simple:

1) It is very expensive (for that money there are many better ships, that you will actually use/play alot more ingame)

2) 90 percent (or more) of the time if you just ask in zone chat for an invite to a Suliban ship (to get those special duty officers), there will be someone online who has a Suliban and has no problem logging into it to give you access. If no one is online when you ask, then just wait a bit and ask at a later time.

3) For the money you would spend on this ship, to help your Fleet, it makes alot more sense to spend that money in other ways to help your Fleet. Buy things for your Fleet Projects (duty officers, commodities, donate energy credits directly, etc...). If your Fleet projects don't have much to donate to, help out your Armada Fleet projects. Yours is not the only Fleet that needs assistance I'm sure. :)

If you have any questions, about any of the above, feel free to contact me ingame (Brain@justwanttobe). I run both a Starfleet Fleet (410 members at last count) and a Klingon Fleet (272 at last count).

Ok to explain, what you do for example you are on a ground map such as Nimbus III without any exchange access. You beam to your regular ship bridge and through the small craft selector you can ready your Tuffli or Suliban. Beam out and back and you are on your bridge with exchange access. Through the small craft selector you can now ready the original ship or any ship you own. Then get on with the exchange sales you want safe in the knowledge when you beam back to ground the right ship for combat is still selected.

It has been getting less worthwhile to own them though. Since they removed the need for commodities to fleet projects the Ferengi double discount on the freighter bridge is now pointless and previously they changed the R&D system from which the freghter bridge had access to the old consoles. I wish they would do something beneficial such as adding recruiters to the bridge to make up a little towards what they removed. Assuming like me you don't thing the 13, 10, 10 admiralty card does anywhere near enough to cover the loss.

The Tuffli still has the benefit of calling a security escort so you can start a contraband doff mission from anywhere in the galaxy.

I actually use my Ferengi Nandi as the Tuffli is massive with the exchange console right at the back in the Bar. But I used it more for the discount commodities when they were used for stuff
