As for buying off the exchange. Well you won't find much thats anywhere close to 3mill unless its a typo or a t5 noone would want.
One of the big problems with ships in sto is that they fly differently to each other so if you do buy one and don't like it you're left with a ship that will take a lot of time and effort to feel right.
If you've been playing mostly in cruisers then playstyle will need adjusting for escorts as they're way more nimble.
Being an engineer captain is one part of what makes a ship effective or not and since everyone now shares the same talent tree the difference isnt all that big (unless you're a dps hound in which case you'd have gone tac from the start)
-Tholian Meshweaver (Gives up the usual ensign slot for a Lt. Cmd Sci)
-Nihydron Destroyer
-Kazon Heavy Raider (This gives Feds a taste of klingon raptors with their handful of universal boff slots but slightly more squishy hull)
-APU Cruiser (Similar to the Assault Cruiser or Mirror Star Cruiser)
-Malon Battlecruiser (Trades one grade of Eng for Sci)
I asked about the ship just for trying something new since is around 20 level with the same ship, for buying ship from c-store i ve read around that many suggest to start with arbiter or odyssey anyway
or can i upgrade my actual t5 assault cruiser to T5-U with the token? maybe is a betrer choice?
I've had a lifetime sub for pretty much the life of the game but most of the perks take a long time to acrue as a gold member. The 500 zen a month from a sub is something you may as well just buy if you want the zen.
At the moment my main engineer (I have a few) is using the 31c dreadnaught from the bundle mentioned above and in comparison to other cruiser sized ships it's surprisingly agile. I bounce between that, jarjar's drednaught and the herald carrier.
O so if I like the game and want to suport it.. Don't give them money?
Seem alot of hard work goes it to this game and it's the cost of a bad pizza to suport them and sub up.
i think he is talking about the
31st Century Temporal Ship Bundle
with 3x T6 ships for every faction in it.
and judging by what i've read about those through different forums and here, they're worth their ZEN, especially when that bundle is on sale again...
Only issue I have with this is buying fleet vessels doesn't grant you access for other characters should you wish to make them. Still a decent idea though, will just take a while to farm.
About the subscription, yeah i was thinking about 1 month only for unlocking account bank the 2 extra boff and the extra slot but i have to make the other chars first so it unlock on them all.
About the upgrade so i cannot upgrade the assault cruiser then ?
You can double check at the NPC who sells ships as they will only show what that character can use. Unlocked ones will cost 0 zen for alts having a look there. Downside is they don't do the bundles like the 31c one so you'd have to get that via the zen store.
If you're talking about the avenger then being a t5 ship you can upgrade it but will need to get a token either from exchange or for zen.
Would have to check but I may have one gathering dust on an alt. On the off chance I do, drop your @handle here and I'll see if I can catch you ingame.
