There have been reports of the kelvin intel dred appearing for silly low prices. If they're true then either by someone who doesnt realise how expensive lobi ships are to get (dil-zen-keys-lobi or ec-keys-lobi) or they miscounted the number of zeros.

As for buying off the exchange. Well you won't find much thats anywhere close to 3mill unless its a typo or a t5 noone would want.

One of the big problems with ships in sto is that they fly differently to each other so if you do buy one and don't like it you're left with a ship that will take a lot of time and effort to feel right.

If you've been playing mostly in cruisers then playstyle will need adjusting for escorts as they're way more nimble.

Being an engineer captain is one part of what makes a ship effective or not and since everyone now shares the same talent tree the difference isnt all that big (unless you're a dps hound in which case you'd have gone tac from the start)

Apparently, you are yet another lost soul that is choosing a ship by its visual appearance. T6 LB ships start from 130mil.

I'm slowly coming to N3my on this approach, any ship will do. A couple less console slots, no ship trait to learn... What's it matter? Get you a cheap Mirror Universe ship but be careful as it will be an uphill battle.

If you are looking for a good starter ship save up and grab the 31 century ship bundle off the Z store. Those ships are useable by every faction and also offer 1 of each type of ship (sci, tac, eng). That is truely the best deal in the game because they unlock for your entire account and the ships themselves are decent.

Should be enough to afford a few ships. You have the,

-Tholian Meshweaver (Gives up the usual ensign slot for a Lt. Cmd Sci)
-Nihydron Destroyer
-Kazon Heavy Raider (This gives Feds a taste of klingon raptors with their handful of universal boff slots but slightly more squishy hull)
-APU Cruiser (Similar to the Assault Cruiser or Mirror Star Cruiser)
-Malon Battlecruiser (Trades one grade of Eng for Sci)

Or take a risk and open a lock box but i think the chances of getting a ship are pretty slim
Firely Feb 21, 2017 @ 8:32am
Yeah thanks Yoshiblue and all the others , i think i will take a look about that ships , btw im still enjoying the game by doing all the episode and probably will make a montly subscription.

I asked about the ship just for trying something new since is around 20 level with the same ship, for buying ship from c-store i ve read around that many suggest to start with arbiter or odyssey anyway

or can i upgrade my actual t5 assault cruiser to T5-U with the token? maybe is a betrer choice?

There's not actually much benefit from having a sub. If you feel the urge to drop some money then wait for a zen sale first, pick up the credit cap removal second and then consider what ship or ships you want. Again take your time and wait for a sale as they're not cheap.

I've had a lifetime sub for pretty much the life of the game but most of the perks take a long time to acrue as a gold member. The 500 zen a month from a sub is something you may as well just buy if you want the zen.

At the moment my main engineer (I have a few) is using the 31c dreadnaught from the bundle mentioned above and in comparison to other cruiser sized ships it's surprisingly agile. I bounce between that, jarjar's drednaught and the herald carrier.

Yeah, I have played this game sience 2012. So my advice is exchange dalitium ore to Zen to by a T6 ship. Maybe between 1000-2500 Zen, ( Star trek Online money). By doings so cost nothing just time but better than scratch together 500 milion EC. I have a T6 Exploration Crusier. 4 Fleet modules and 20,000 fleet credits is awsome. The Exploration Crusier is a galaxy class by the way. To make the biggest profit in long term, this is the best thing to do.

Dont do that... worst thing you can do in this game is to subscribe.. its not worthy. If you want, you can sub for a month, to get the account bank and the other thingy i cant remember, and then unsub. But for the love of god, dont throw away your money to the trash subscribing for more than a month lol.

Specially if you are enjoying the game. If you do, just create more characters, grind, be patience and in the meantime, save EC and dilithium. Eventually you will have any ship you want, but if you are playing a mmorpg with little eng-game content (to say the most) and you want to skip grind.. you will be better to just find another game, seriously.

O so if I like the game and want to suport it.. Don't give them money?
Seem alot of hard work goes it to this game and it's the cost of a bad pizza to suport them and sub up. :steamfacepalm:

Every single cstore ship unlocks to any character of your account of the same faction.. but no.

Buing Starter packs are the worst advise you could give someone. Because you will replace those items in 2 days.

i think he is talking about the
31st Century Temporal Ship Bundle
with 3x T6 ships for every faction in it.

and judging by what i've read about those through different forums and here, they're worth their ZEN, especially when that bundle is on sale again...

Only issue I have with this is buying fleet vessels doesn't grant you access for other characters should you wish to make them. Still a decent idea though, will just take a while to farm.
Firely Feb 21, 2017 @ 12:13pm
oh didn't know about the access to all the account characters with c-store ship , so i guess arbiter and odyssey are feds only

About the subscription, yeah i was thinking about 1 month only for unlocking account bank the 2 extra boff and the extra slot but i have to make the other chars first so it unlock on them all.

About the upgrade so i cannot upgrade the assault cruiser then ?
Mr. Fibble Feb 21, 2017 @ 1:16pm
Yeah arby and oddy are both fed ships, zen store is a mess when it comes to finding faction specific ships quickly as it clumps all ships of a specific tier togather and has no filter for fed, klink or rom.

You can double check at the NPC who sells ships as they will only show what that character can use. Unlocked ones will cost 0 zen for alts having a look there. Downside is they don't do the bundles like the 31c one so you'd have to get that via the zen store.

If you're talking about the avenger then being a t5 ship you can upgrade it but will need to get a token either from exchange or for zen.

Would have to check but I may have one gathering dust on an alt. On the off chance I do, drop your @handle here and I'll see if I can catch you ingame.
