How to toggle walk?
The option in the settings doesn't toggle it. I want it bound to my caps lock key. I have seen some people do "/bind [key] ++walk" but when I type it "/bind CapsLock ++walk" it doesn't work.

"/bind 0x3a ++walk" without the quotes works for me.

Some keys cannot be bound. You have the right command, but you probably got one of the few that can't be set as that.

Make sure the key you are binding it to isn't used by something else either in the game or in any wrap around clients like Steam. I usually bind walk to the right slash key and it works in Champs and STO.

You got the right answer, but I think you need to do a different key. I do Tab, works just fine. /Bind Tab ++Walk Is what I type, and it does toggle. Most MMO's don't allow Caps Lock to be used for some reason, I know SWTOR doesn't.

Where do I type that command? Because I would like to use it with ";" but I don't understand where I need to put it.

I keep putting "/bind , ++walk" and it keeps saying "bind" takes 2 argument(s). bind. What am I doing wrong?

You have to specify a key.

Oh. Star Trek Online doesn't allow some keys to be used for key binds. I don't know about the comma specifically, but Caps Lock didn't work for me. You should try another key.

I figured out what I was doing while. I had to write it like this: /bind "," ++walk
baxton29 Mar 8, 2018 @ 7:38am
*wrong* not "while"

Or you could go to the key binds page in options and assign a key there in the "Ground" region settings, thats how I did it.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
