Stick direction keys not working in controller settings
A specific stick recognition bug?
Dash, air dash, back dash, air back dash works well with the keyboard, but it doesn't work well with the stick.
Is it just me?

depend what stick you use, i play with a Xbox Joystick and it work great

Are you using an XInput device? Many games (including this one) are made with XInput controllers in mind, and trying to use other controllers (such as a PlayStation one) will result in buttons not being mapped as intended. To solve that, you can use a wrapper like Steam Input, which will basically convert your controller's inputs into something the game can understand (XInput).

The joystick I'm using is direct input.
Maybe that's why it only sets the buttons, but not the direction keys. I use a separate program to recognize the direction keys on the stick lever, so dash and back dash don't work well.

In that case yes, you need a DirectInput to XInput wrapper. Hopefully Steam Input should work just fine for that if you're using a PS4 arcade stick...
