What is considered an "error" on this game?
So i have been playing hours at a time again lately. I just don't get what is considered an an error in this game. Here is an example. I hit a barely fair ball, so I decided to run for 2. Well I should have been picked off, but the player missed the ball at 2nd base.

I thought that would be an error and it still shows both teams at 0 errors, so I have to ask, if something like this isn't marked down as one, what is? Like it was a play where I should have been thrown out at 2nd but they didnt catch the ball (A for sure error lol)

It's usually left up to the official scorer's judgement. If it's not super obvious they will usually side with the non-error call. You said that you hit a barely fair ball so that sounds like the expected result would be a double. And that's what happened - so no error.

Now, now. Settle down. It depends how close the play was and whether the defense had to do something spectacular to get to that point. I didn't see your play, so how am I or anyone supposed to know whether the call looked good or looked like a bug? I'm just explaining how it works in real life. The fielder CAN drop the ball at 2nd without it being called an error. At 2nd base you also need a tag to be made so even though you may have seen the ball get there in time, the runner may still have been safe even without the drop.

Sorry, very tempermental person. I do apologize. I guess with how the AI slides, it is possible it could have never made the tag, hence why it didnt count (As you mentioned). On my end, it looked like the throw was on time, and the 2nd baseman missed it. Thanks tho, sorry again

Yeah, sometimes it's a little up in the air and Super Mega doesn't zoom in close to the action at the bases, so it's a little hard to tell sometimes what the proper call should be. The good news is that I don't think it really matters. Mojo will get adjusted the same way regardless of whether its an error or not. It matters a tiny bit if you really, really care about your batters/fielders stats, but apart from that a blown error call has no impact on the game. They don't even tell you after the play what the call was - you have to wait until the end of the inning to see the line score.
