Corruption ?

I'm glad to play this game in full, even if many years has passed since my last glance at the DoD. I've searched Discussions and Guides, but I see that one thing is not explained (at one place), and that is the Corruption.
So, I've checked Dredmorpedia, creatures that can corrupt items are Magic Golem, Magic Dragon and Blob of corruption. It can also be corruption trap, Kron's Anvil with Displeased and the Lord Dredmore himself.
Is there any other source of item Corruption in this game ?

Also, from what I gathered, it seems that some things can undo "curses" from the monsters, but I didnt investigate further. It would be helpful additional info on this part also.

The Class Demonologist, 2nd to last skill Flames of the Heckforge can get rid of corruption caused by MONSTERS only. It will not get rid of the corruption if caused by other sources such as traps, and anvils.
As for sources of corruption, that sounds about right. I don't know too much about corruption of items but it seems like that list you have is correct. Maybe, just maybe there's a few more enemies that can corrupt but I don't want to check or find out to be honest.

I could be wrong, but i swear there is some kind of unstable encrusting that causes a rare corruption of your items when being hit but I could be dead wrong.

Flames of the Heckforge from the Demonologist skill is supposed to remove corruption. I don't have any recent experience with the Demonologist skill, so that's the best I can say.

BTW, I wrote this crafting guide many years ago, which has a chapter on encrusting. For some bizarre reason, it's no longer listed when you look up guides on Steam. But I found a link to it, so it's still there, in some sense of the word.
