Anything else running in the background taking up bandwidth, or any security software blocking CO?
Nothing wrong with my internet. Was playing Mordhau and ESO just now. Like I said, I was playing CO earlier but the lag was horrible, asked in the chat and people said they where also experiencing it. Someone told me to change the Proxy to US, so I did and the lag was a little better, but it was still unplayable so I quit for a while, went to play other things.
I'm still having the problem, launcher won't open, it gives a window saying "trying to connect to the update server" instead.
It was the first thing I did, it didn't worked. I'll try asking the forums, but that place seems dead as a doornail.
Just check if there's any Windows update waiting to be downloaded or installed, go through the update then restart your PC, and perhaps it will be fixed.
Well, Windows just had an update some hours ago, now I can't remember if I played it after I installed the update and restarted or before. It was probably after it was updated though, so its strange that the game just stopped working out of nowhere.
EDIT: Went and checked if Windows had another update and there was an error on the update it did some hours ago and was asking to repete the proccess. I'll do it and see what happens.
EDIT2: Update made and still have the same problem. Can't open the launcher.

then you have something in hand you can either add to a CO support ticket, or ask your ISP, if they could look into it, other then that i'm not sure what else you could try...
Yeah, this seems to be the case but it isn't on my end. I already disabled the Firewall and every protection that Windows Defender has. And the fact that it happened all of a sudden, one time its working and some hours later it isn't, doesn't help things either.
I tried to install ARC and download the game through there but it doesn't work either, it gives and "login time out" error. Says I'm not connected to the internet either.
I sent a ticket to Cryptic and they responded fairly quickly, I thought it would take days to get a response. Problem is, it looks like a bot response. It asked for the traceroute log even though I already attached the log in the ticket. I sent another log and so far didn't got an answear yet.
The problem is still persisting.
After it tried to connect to the update server 3 times, on the 4th it connected, the launcher updated and I was able to login.
I guess it wasn't a bot at all and the support fixed the problem for me. It was very fast.
