It is amazing how many people think that they can answer an argument by attributing bad motives to those who disagree with them. Using this kind of reasoning, you can believe or not believe anything about anything, without having to bother to deal with facts or logic.

I am just going to set aside that you are doing the "Christians before Christ" thing. I don't need to have a moral discussion with you. I am not making a moral argument.

My position is that you have to sell to the market. That the portion of the market you would sell to is over-saturated. That it is over-saturated because of activists and that those same activists prevent what would otherwise be your unassailable competition (once universally beloved established IPs owned by mega-corps) from competing with you. Iff you abandon DEI (as a first step) Champions might be able to grow into very valuable IP. Its an opportunity that is rapidly closing. Even Disney can't stomach many more DEI successes like "Snow White".

Superheroes will be always be for DEI. Champions Online 2 should absolutely have a (they/them) gender selection. Instead of the male-female choices we currently have. As the game, as is, is not DEI.

It is the least popular Cryptic Studios MMO.

A lot of individuals were burnt out at complaining to Cryptic Studios. Only to be shadow banned for their efforts. Which is why the Champions RPG community & creators vouch for City of Heroes: Homecoming instead.

Any other genre, other than hero shooter, Concord would be fine.

As Tencent, Mihoyo, Netease, Perfect World basically has followed the same exact narrative flow. CMYK(poison dart frog) color design, DEI stories, etc. Making China's video game market basically the largest. As DEI is global-focused, and not local-focused.

This has aged like milk. Emma Frost is modeled after a Trans Male/Non-binary individual. As well as being more based on Lord Fanny (Hilde Morales), Vertigo/DC. Both characters largely formed from Grant Morrison work on them (Lord Fanny -> Emma Frost). So, DEI is successful.
