I didn't remembered there was a resource limit.
Happy for the free character slot once character level reach 40... but first time with a character as in for that character slot or just once for all of them?

The free character slot at level 40 used to be whenever a character hit 40, now it's just once per account.

Or 12 copies of fallout 4.
Or 35 copies of Prey.
Or 10 copies of they are billions.

This is absolutely insane for a dead mmo.

Brazil must have some odd pricing for games... For me it shows 199 € (normally 299 €), which would translate to over 800 R$ - or at most 6 copies of The Witcher 3 (or 4 GotY editions).

You're forgetting about regional pricing. The lifetime sub is listed over R$600 for me right now, on sale. Witcher3 GOTY goes on sale for R$30

Not every game company uses regional pricing, which means some games are priced at R$200, mainly bethesda/ubisoft/ea games that I wouldn't buy anyway. Triple A with decent regional pricing go for R$100 or so.

Don't bother the games DO NOT WORK on the were PC's its either new i9 processor or the higher resolution monitor settings. Regardless the developers should be embarrassed they couldn't keep up.

Seeing it go F2P was a pretty big knock but £130 for sub, lifetime or not, is absolutely ridiculous

Pretty much there is nothing to promote the game. Kael does weekly streams for STO but nothing like that for this game. LTS now is only worth it on sale and if you want the freeform on all characters. Also it's not advertised as such but you can buy the cheap slots as an LTS and it will be automatically freeform.

The lifetime vet rewards stopped a long time ago so you will only get what they released back then but nothing new.

So is there another way to make a freeform character now? Besides buying a lifetime of a subscription that no longer exists?

Buy a Freeform-Slot, 3k Zen for a single slot 6k for a pack of 3 (so effectively 2k per slot) preferably when they are on sale (usually lowers it to 2.4k for the single, 4.8k for the 3pack).

Just bring back the monthly subscription plan for Gold status in Champions Online, this title isn't set up correctly for this Lifetime or Free only model. It works great for Star Trek Online though, since you can buy that elite unlock pack and you're pretty much 'subbed without the 500 Zen stipend a month' and good to go since there's no freeform-type class stuff there.
That's why, at least the way it looks to me, the Lifetime-only model for Gold status doesn't work for Champions Online.
