My review of CO:
Champions Online is a free-to-play superhero-themed MMORPG by former City of Heroes developer Cryptic Studios based on the Champions ( Paper and Pencil game ) license and system. Now owned by PWI, each PWI account give you access to every PWI game.

The game's rules and setting are loosely based on the HERO System ruleset and has it's own universe and lore. The graphics are like how American comic books look like.
Your controls are limited to a few skill buttons and tab targeting. The level cap is 40. You can make 2 characters per account as free2play. It has one server with many instances, has world chat and ok social group making system.

If you are not willing to pay real money, you still can have some fun on Champions Online, you just have to be limited in your choice of 10 free archetypes. The game has ore you can collect as reward for certain harder Co-Op missions and can be sold in game for store points. Has a good cosmetic customization system even for F2P players. Each character's bank slots and inventory bags are cramped. Game Store has plenty of stuff for you to buy. Devs occasionally give away stuff and codes during events.

The quest content is free and maybe enough to reach level cap. If you reach lvl 40, you get a new free archetype to play with. Big with Roleplayers now. Currently, Not many people playing lower level heroes, or teaming up on quests. Has Steam Achievements. Has crafting, specialization trees and gear to improve your character.

It is an good old superhero MMORPG. But I don't suggest you put any real money into it.

My review of DCUO:
DC Universe Online (DCUO) is "free to play" superhero MMORPG. This game is hard on your mouse buttons and seems more designed for gamepads and console gamers. If you like DC comics, you might like this game. You have a small selection of free archetypes and powers for your own original hero or villian, have decent amount of free costume choices, and later earn more powers and skills. The graphics style is ok. Uses an Action style of targeting. Has PVP or PVE oriented servers.

DC Universe Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) based upon the fictional universe of DC Comics. The game was released in January 2011. Also cross-platform with PS4 consoles.

Free to Play - Started November 2, 2011. F2P players can join the game at no cost and can create up to 2 characters. F2P players have a very limited inventory, are limited to 1500 in-game credits (excess is deposited in escrow ), and limited to just the free game content.

Premium - If a F2P player pays at least a $5 with Store Cash, or if a player allows his or her Legendary membership subscription to lapse, they become Premium players. Premium membership allows up to 6 character slots and has similar inventory and in-game cash limitations as F2P. If you play as a premium player, you will need to buy a lot of DLC to get to see everything or play as your favorite characters.

I like DCUO due to the DC Universe, but this one is fairly solid, not CoH solid but good enough.

DCUO is meant to be played with a controller, it's pretty much the only MMORPG that feels more natural than controller than mouse and KB.....it feels odd to me with mouse and KB
