But a personal favourite of mine is Plasma Beam. It just melts normal mobs, does consistently high damage + DoT, and you can aim it with the mouse.
Although I do appreciate your suggestions, it still not what I asked for. Don't get me wrong, but Plasma Beam is AoE, and healing powers is support, not damage, what is already covered.
If a power is 100 DPS with the best build, but 1 DPS without it, doesn't matter to my question. If a power is 2 DPS over the other that was 1 DPS, than that is considered the best. If other is 5 DPS, than is even better. That is what I'm asking. Simple question, simple answer.
And I know that Two Gun Mojo was considered the best raw DPS back then, but since I know that was nerfed, that I why the topic title was about the "current" one.
I don't care if you find both powers useless as raw damage
Some power is bound to have a slight more DPS than other. And of course the amount of energy is part of the equation to measure DPS.
Ebon Ruin, Ego Lance (If you can afford a slot to a ego leech building power too), Assault Rifle, Pulse Beam Rifle (Has good crit synergy) and Lightning Arc (Requires targets to be affected by negative ions to reach full damage output, which is the highest maintained range dps available. Ball Lightning w/ Triplicity Advantage will do this for you aswell as adding some additional AoE DOT to enemies).
Haymaker, Annihilate, Eviscerate, Reaper's Embrace, Burning Chi Fist(which actually buffs your other melee moves and is very useful for energy) and Dragon's Claws are your go to for ST melee damage.
If you wanna get the most out of any of these moves though they mostly require some setup with other debuffs or stacks of something.
You could have easily just said....well you're a support, pick anything they all do the same damage since you don't have any scaling....
I have a pure support character and I just threw Skarns bane on because it adds in CC and poison and bleed randomly. As far as damage output they're all pretty much the same.
1 tricking your dps without a full dps spec and supportive skills = everything becomes the same.
