Entering lv 40, Gear suggestion? And how to get them?

As the title said, I just reach lv 40 as Inferno. For now, i have pretty much a random gear at my Primary slot and Armadillo set for secondary. Anyone can suggest a better gear especially for my primary slot?

Armadillo is a solid secondary choice for now as primary go for either:
Mercenary Gear: Best obtained through the Auction House
or
Heroic Gear: Needs 150 Silver Champions Recognition per piece

Heroic is a bit better then Mercs but if its your first lvl 40 those 450 Silver Champs might really take a while to get.
In both cases put rank 5-7 mods in the gear (both sets have 3 slots each, 2 for stat-mods and 1 for a core mod)

High end gear is:
Distinguished or Justice Gear, both will take Gold Champions Recognition wich means doin quite some cosmic fights, Justice Gear needs tokens that randomly drop from Rampage alerts.

Secondary: either the secondaries from the GCR-Vendor or those from the Villain Onslaught Vendor. They mean either, more GCR-Farming (cosmics) or a long Villain Onslaught grind.

Also, do you know any place to farm Resources? (Gold)

Best way to farm ressources is, sadly, doing lots and lots of smash alerts, use the time in between to kill mobs in high level areas so the waiting time doesnt go to waste.

Drops from Events might get you a nice amount when you sell them (like the Devices from Bloodmoon that is on right now, even though the prices for those are down a bit atm, after nearly 3 weeks of constant undead hero farming)

With booster (and from the smash booster itself), i manage to earn 4.50 Gold/alert. But the queue sometimes annoying maybe due to ppl doing Blood Moon stuff.

Yea during events alerts are slow to start, the best day to do mass-smash runs is when the daily to do 3 smashes for 2k qnite is on.
