Events happens each server hour.
And you need to spam dance moves for better points. Not just ocasionally use one.
=P
For a single dance per key it's /bind y emote dance_unusual (I used keys y and u since they weren't being used for anything and they're easily clickable for me). I only assume that multiple emotes on one key would be /bind y emote dance_unusual emote dance_awesome emote dance_shuffle but I haven't tested it nor asked about it.
Oh, and don't have anything or anyone targeted or else you spam chat, which can get you silenced for a few minutes.
NOTE:
you can still get points for spamming the same dance emote, but you get more points if you mix the dance emotes.
You only need 300 pts if you want to get the *max* reward of 3 anniversary gifts.
If you want to see how many dances you have left, check the Perks menu (default key is "K"), and look in the "Events" section. There you'll see how many dances you have and how many are left.
