Is it possible to stay in a romance with Caseo if you cross the Rubicon with your legion?

I never completed Caseo romance. I cut it off as soon as I smelled baby drama, because I did not want to deal with it. But I have seen some romance videos on YT and in thoose he always dumps mc if they choose dictator path.
So it seems that there is no way to get best ending and stay in romance with him.
Maybe try romancing Bestia? He might not be as romantic as Caseo, but I can confirm that he will stay with mc in that ending. So in my eyes he is defintely more worthy than Caseo.

Nope, while she will not be thrilled by mc's choice, she won't dump him. At least that is what I saw on YT.

It is possible to stay in a Romance with Caeso. He will always initially leave, but you will have a chance to get him back later.

Yes, you can get him back for final fight, but he will still dump mc as soon as she/he decides to become dictator.
