It seems that cutscene kills count towards Mors Tua Vita Mea achievement.

As the title says. After cutscene where my char and her companions killed some annoying gauls, I immediately unlocked Mors Tua Vita Mea achievement.
I'm just leaving this somewhat useless info for anyone who is struggling with this particular achievement. Maybe it will help.

I just did Lesbos - so it was the unmissable Julia unarmed on the wall, the three takedowns in port (Caeso had Spear, Bestia had Dagger, MC had Staff) - and then only the takedown on Theophilus' lover in Temple of Apollon with a Pike.

It's clearly bugged.

Thanks for this post. I've been struggling with that particular achievement and wonder if I'll inadvertently unlock it when I get to Gallia on this playthrough.

Yeah, I played the triarius because they can use all types of weapons other than the bow. I intended to of course execute people with all types of weapons and then find a cutscene where party members actually do the deed and then pick a team of sagittarius-only praetorians.

My work was cut short. Like I said, in that particular game I didn't even perform a takedown with sword or bow, so it must include previous playthroughs but is bugged.

Yeah, +1 on the thanks. I'd probably still be banking on incapacitation or outright kills as a condition for this achievement if it wasn't for this post.

Got the Accipe Hoc achievement finally. Outside the final ones and the romance ones I still the cut scene takedowns. But if I need to replay the tutorial and act 1 I can manage. I think.

Takedowns are when a character is taken down in a "takedown animation". These are generally triggered through dialogue and do not occur in combat (but often can start combat).
Julia is the only character that has the option to do a takedown in combat, but that requires one of her hands to be unarmed, which limits the weapon she can do it with..

The achievement is doing takedowns with each main-hand weapon type: Bow, Dagger, Pike, Spear, Staff, Sword, Unarmed.

Edit: Note it doesn't check for unique animations; just each unique weapon type.

Like in the tutorial, when Calida kills the guard on the tower wall, or if you choose the sneaky route after that you, Calida, and Caeso insta-kill the 3 patrols. That's what I meant, the scripted kills outside of combat.

So has anyone actually figured out the requirements? Because I definitely did that with all weapons except the gladiator ones by now, no achievement...
