Death or Glory DLC is worth it?

Should I buy the Death or Glory DLC because I've seen that a lot of reviews say that it destroys the balance of the base game?

Has this been fixed?

Yes, I'd say it's worth it. DLC destroying the balance is pretty preposterous. Never encountered a Death or Glory based problems in any of my playthroughs and I've spent almost 300 hours on Rome. In my opinion it blends rather seemingly into the base game and it just wouldn't be very Roman, to not include gladiators or arenas. Honestly wouldn't want to play without it.
