Beat Nikolaos, the champion of Lysandros' ampitheatre

I am at this step of the side quest "Champion of Asia Minor", but when I go to start the fight in the arena, Lysandros replies that he will begin building an arena suitable for, but the fight never starts.

I have conquered the entire map. I have just the main quest "The Conquest of Asia Minor", and it is telling me to take care of any unfinished business before proceeding. Is this a bug, or is it in the next phase?

I take it you won every challenge in Lysandros arena except the big fight with his champion, Nikolaos? If I remember correctly, you need to speak to Nikolaos himself to instigate the fight.

Regarding the Conquest of Asia Minor. The message is a warning; if you continue with the main questline to take Chalkedon, then any quest you have not finished prior to that, will become unavailable and result in the quests' failure. You will not be able to return to the map after Chalkedon.

If you have in fact competed all of your other quests for Act 1 quests in Asia Minor, then go forward, and shake things up:)

If I proceed to the next map, will it lock me out of returning to asia minor and finishing "Champion of Asia Minor"? I cannot talk to Nikolaos and Lysandros still says the same thing about preparing the arena. I have beaten all of the fights before Nikolaos.

You cannot return to Asia Minor and complete that quest after you choose to proceed to the next map :)
