this game is not easy on normal difficulty

im pretty noob at video games but im having trouble in final battle of act 1. to free cotta from his execution, i need to kill an enemy who has a key or i need to destroy door with my weapon?

I found that destroying the cell is much easier.

If you have a Velles praetorian spec'ed into the assassin tree, you can get the perk that makes movement ilimited until they stop movig, effectivelly getting you to his cell in 1 turn.

Also, there are a couple friendly npcs you can free on the first turn if your characters have enough movement. Those make the fight a lot more manageable.

That's not a bad thing

It's not even easy on Easy difficulty. That Act 1 finale had me biting me nails and grinding my teeth in equal parts tension and frustration. Fun, but had it been any more difficult it would not have been - at least for me.

Drives me nuts how their arches make shots the game would never let me get away with.
