This game combined with posibility to battle legion in the field (as TOTAL WAR: ROME) would be something amazing.
Not that I object to having mods but the effort to provide the kind of comprehensive modding ability that would allow a new campaign seems better spent elsewhere. Particularly, retro-fitting modding ability to a game not designed with modding in mind.

If you're amongst our handful of longtime fans you may have noticed that we have changed the engine in Expeditions: Rome. So everything had to be re-written from the ground up. And since we're a small indie outfit we had no resources to add modding capabilities to the game.
We have already started working on our next project and I'll be honest with you: We're currently not working on adding modding capabilities for Rome. I think this is a letdown and we really wish we could but as I said we're a relatively small team.
Now that doesn't mean I'm ruling out official mod support forever. Who knows? We may add such a feature in the future. Just saying that currently we're not working on that.
Just don't forget us plz.
