Scipio Africanus Helmet
Does anyone know if there's a Unique Musculata that matches this helmet?

Caeso armour seems to have the same vibe.

Yes, but only Caseo can wear Caseo armor. A player version of Caseo's set that matches the Scipio helmet would be pretty awesome.

They aren't that many unique armours wearable by everyone. Without DLC there's the armour in Gaul and that's about it.

I just find it tragic that they made Caseo look so cool compared to the player. HE looks like a Legate, while I am largely stuck wearing what my soldiers wear.

I also don't think every single Legion Heavy should have the plumed helmets either, but it is what it is. I still enjoy the game a great deal, just certain aesthetic choices occasionally pull me out of my immersion.

The idea is to put the message that in the roman army, you're there per merit, but not only for the highest positions. This is part of the message.

That is baseless. Caeso served longer and seen more war than the player ever will, and everyone knows he does it for love of Rome, not in hopes to become his own Legate some day. Caeso represents the face of the common Soldiery in the game, and yet his armor looks the way it does.

Wanting proper Legate-looking armor is not an unreasonable expectation. If Caeso can look the way he does, the least they could do is give us a black/gold Africanus Musculata to match the Helmet that's already in the game.

You misinterpreted. To become legate you need connections. Which this guy has none.

You start the story with one of the best connections in all of Rome? The only reason you got Legate post is because of your connections. Lucullus even makes a comment about how his other Tribuni were very upset with your rapid promotion, and saving the previous Legate's life does not warrant such promotions. I'm sure Caeso has saved his Legate's life a time or two.

You are a Noble Son who's family happens to be best buds with the current Consul of Rome. You actually being a natural born Leader/Commander was essentially luck for all involved.

Your character has never struggled through the common man's plight. They may love and respect him, but they have never seen him as a 'common man' risen through Merit alone. Caeso is more akin to that type of story, seeing as he's not a Noble at all and rose to prominence through his Military Career alone.

I spoke about caeso.
The Scipio helmet to a good degree matches quite well with the Traitor's Mail from Act 1. While the Mail is not as gold as the helmet, the mail still has some gold to match it. Furthermore the helmet's red plume goes along well with the mail's red theme. Finally, the black metal of the helmet suits the black materials of the mail.
While the two are not partnered, they look like they could be
