Game over heats PC

Not sure if the game demo is unoptimized or something, but playing it for even 10 minutes causes my PC to get extremly hot to the point that the keyboad USB sometimes turns on and off, etc.

I've only have 3 games in the 2 years of this PC to cause overheat when running my PC. This game, Mechwarrior 5 and Red Solstace 2 (AFTER the last free DLC patch).

MW5 is historically unoptimized and often requires MODS to be playable. My PC is beefy, top of the line 2 years ago. Geforce 2070RTX, etc. Cyberpunk runs everything extreme with no issues and can even be open while playing Gears Tactics in the background (don't ask). Why is this game taxing my system more than Mechwarrior 5?!?!

I own both previous Expedition games and want to play this but can't if it is over heating my system in 10 minutes. MW5 takes 3 hours straight to get this hot and is other game to do so.....

Expedition Rome: unreal engine, other unreal engine game Medieval Dynasty runs now hot af well. Maybe latest nvidia drivers doesn't like the engine. Gotta check more as these 2 games are the only problem for me now.

Yes the game is badly optimized, and runs far to hot for what it is. Poorly optimized games can turn your computer into a virtual oven if you allow it. I have to turn all the video setting right down on this game to keep my machine cool, yet I run Cyberpunk, Elden Ring, Death Stranding and many other graphics heavy games on ultra without issues.

Yeaaah...this game is poorly optimized. Yes cooling is a factor. But it's not like it's a CPU/GPU intensive game.

For a while i have to limit fps in some games with my nvidia card. Else it will run games like this around 300+ fps. Of course that produces heat. Also make sure, when you limit fps in game, the driver can overwrite it. I recommend to check also the nvidia settings. Developers often forget a maxcap

I doubt the game has changed since 2022, since the dev is on the ropes right now.

Again, complete nonsense. The game doesnt do anything. Its a game. If you have 80 degrees, your cooling is not up to par.

Logically, this is absolutely untrue, the game absolutely doesn't NOT do anything. A game can definitely 'overheat' a system regardless of cooling. The game could instruct the cooling system to SHUT DOWN. Pretending otherwise is akin to believing a device is non hack-able.
