Cleopatra Romance Conclusion?
Just finished the Egypt segment, arrived back in Rome. Used the heart options whenever they showed up, got her the Pharaoh's rug, generally said things that seemed like what she wanted to hear, and told her about and defended her from the assassination attempt. I let her speak at the religious festival, and in the talks with the Pharaoh did not let our alliance shine through.

In any case, wasn't there supposed to be a conclusion the romance here? Or does that only happen later?

Playing a female character, if that's relevant, but since the heart options DID show up with Cleopatra, but they don't show up with Julia, I'm assuming that if you get the heart options in the first place, the romance is also possible.

I did similar things and in the end she came to my villa in Act 3 and thanked me and left.

Do you mean the early parts of Act III where you're still in Rome or the stuff after Gaul?

Her romance isn't available for female characters. Have to be a male character to actually get her romance stuff.

Would be a good idea for the devs to remove the heart dialogue options with her as a female PC then, to avoid confusion. Again, Julia does not have them with my female PC, so this seems like an oversight.

Maybe once it becomes known how to save-edit for this game, I will load an old save and replace the character with a male one, to see the ending of the romance. I don't think I'll be playing this a second time in the near future, there's way too much filler content for my taste for that.

At least I can move forward now and just have my character marry Cato, lol.

It's relevant for the very end, depending on your actions.

its too bad she is male only romancable...doesnt really fit the historical version of her...seems she would be more interested in what a particular roman could do for her politically/power wise than what sex that person was and adapt accordingly....not to mention she is greek and bi relationships where very prevalent in ancient greece....kinda seems like her of all the npcs should be open to bi-romance (something i think the devs should add)

Imagine a mod where she is nude and exposed in the romance scence.

Nice way to twist history, Greek was open minded towards Bi relationships, yes, but that was only between males, females not so much.

Cleopatras ancestors were greek, she was raised from birth in Egypt, there was no greek culture left after generations of incest and egyptian lfestyle.

Cleopatra loved Power, she was using her cunning, and beauty, to seduce the powerful, romance and love was not something she was known for. She was known for her arrogance and her cunning.

um no...the ptomlemys and egypt with them kept the greek culture throughout their rein...the lower classes were prolly mostly egyptian but the upper class was mostly greek...common misconception is that egypt was egyptian but after the ptols took over until rome turned it into a province the ruling class was greek...the gods were greek etc...

pretty sure any culture that embraced male bi/gay sexuality had little issue with female...i highly doubt outside of roman texts u could find anything surviving that address the total extent of sexual relations in the greek world...the romans however despised homosexuality and considered it "greek"...but then again the romans also where a patriarchal society so go figure

and ur last paragraph pretty much sums up my argument...she wouldnt have cared what the sex was just what she could profit from it...

Well, you lost any credibility with " the gods were greek "

And yes, the Greek Culture is known for their Pyramids and Incest Marriages, sure as hell, every greek knew he was totally a god as well.

I make it short, believe whatever you wish, but please, do not teach others, thank you.
