When can I finally sell my excess stuff?
Maybe I missed a merchant that sold/bought items while doing the demo. I just entered Asia. Is there a place nearby, that has a merchant with items?

Merchants don't buy your gear (though there are some items that can be traded to special merchants you meet, like the one in your warcamp). Gear (weapons and armor) can be dismantled for crafting materials and used in the crafting system.

Hope that helps!

Thanks!

Just hold right click to disassemble them into parts. Also, disassembling the unique items your companions start the game with allows you o craft really good versions of them once you unlock the Armory. It also allows you to craft consumables, it's a very important building.

Can't wait to unlock the armory now 🙂

Haven't figured where I can build the outpost in Asia yet though. Guess I haven't reached that point yet. I'm still wandering around the temple; it's pretty big.

It's just some steps to the right. Just send your army to the spot and they'll make the outpost. Yeah, the game is so much fun and this part is amazing. After you build a camp, there's a sidequest you must do to be able to claim resources, keep that in mind, I took a while to understand why it wasn't pacified.

I really love the game. My only problem is that I have to run it at all low settings except for medium texture. My GTX 980 hit 86C before I scaled down, even with liquid cooling. I usually run even AAA games at "high" and never exceed 80C.

I only have heat problems like that with maybe 1 out of 20 games, and I usually refund them. I like this one so much though, I'm putting up with the subpar display.

Dang. Temperature is complicated, I live in Brazil (very hot during summer) and I did destroy a alienware laptop before (heat damaged the mainboard beyond repairs), but now I'm using a 2070 super and while it does heat up playing certain games (like War Thunder) it's running pretty cool with this.

Keep in mind that by the time you CAN unlock the armory, most of the equipment you can craft is outpaced by world loot.

In my experience thus far you will generally only be CRAFTING gear to fill gaps in your Praetorian outfitting. The armory is much more used for crafting tactical items and MODIFYING gear until you unlock the Forge in act 2.

Not true, crafting, especially later on, enables you to make really strong stuff, which you can also modify, in addition you will be able to make unique equipment with specials like, all your team starts with poisoned weapons for example.

As I said, later on. :P

My point is that you aren't gonna be equipping your entire party with crafted gear the second you get the armory.

You CAN have some completely unprecedented power the second you get the armory, either reforging your companions unique equipment or changing the afixes in unique items from bosses, etc.

It's, alongside the building that allow free refill of xonsumables, the most important building.

The issue is, it takes a while until you can upgrade it, so drops from act 2 will outscale the items from the armory until you can upgrade it to create, upgrade and modify lv 2 items.

Thanks for the additional hints. Seems I'll be taking my time playing this game.
