btw in latin and spanish. the word house is written and pronouced the same. Casa
or domum
Well then, you paid for a linguistic theory that is not supported by most scholars of ancient latin. Modern linguistics decided to create this schism in a laughable way to divert from the church power. Linguists are dynamic and follow rules you can only find by evaluting and examining ethimology of the modern words in every language that derives from the ancient one. Reading LuKillius is completely denying this study, ALL derivations are read Lucillius like in spanish, portuguese, italian and even french and english: Lúcio, Luccio, Lucius, Lucille, Lucy. This is just a small example.
Anyways, I'm not the one being paid for this and you are the one making decisions. For me it's immerssion killer and I cringe everytime I hear them kicking linguistics.
Have a great launch tomorrow and best success (won't be playing it, but I'm just one so no loss there).
Ps. As for the C bein read as a K mentioned by another comment it is again just a scholar theory that has little to no basis on ethimology (would explain better but I'm not an english native speaker, just a linguist that knows way too many languages).
Yes, my immersion is completly destroyed. Time to give up my passion for computer games and enlist into a catholic monastery to only hear correct latin for the rest of my life.

You do that, maybe they can teach you some interesting stuff so you are not only passionate for games, but also for culture, history and groundbreaking space rocketry.
If THAT's your thing, why not bring it up?
Since when can you not bring up whatever you want and are passionate about?
From the comments I've been getting it seems that you live a bit too much behind a screen
Because you want something from a game which is had never aimed for int he first place.
You are setting yourself up for dissapointment with expectations that are out of the blue.
Its like screaming at all, wanting it to be a door. It looks weird to everyone else.
If it looks weird to everyone else it's really each and everyone's problem, not really mine.
I brought up what I felt was 'wrong' to me in the game. Got my answer and made my decision. Glad the dev had a great answer and I'll live with it gladly... it's everyone else that seem to have problems with weirdos and decide to be weird themselves in return.
It is weird to me, but I do not wonder at all. After all the "Women break my immersion", why not someone comes up with "Wrong latin breaks my immersion". To me both are same weird.
You may play the UNO reverse crad again and say "no you" but I think this is done for me.
