Are there any cheats?

Sadly I got ambushed just after the act 2 intro, on insane/iron man mode, and the fight is legitimately unwinnable.

I'd hate to abandon this file due to RNG encounter bad luck, are there any console commands or cheats for this game?

Even if its something simple like being able to equip my centarions, so I could put some tactical items on them, the only main character I have in this scenario is Caeso, 3 veles and a triarch

I haven't heard about cheats. There are only cheatprogramms in the internet available.

There have been a few YouTube videos using Cheat Engine to change stats

such as how many skill points you have

money, servi, rations, medical, and other resources

actual console commands? unknown

It just feels kind of lame to have a random event screw me over completely, if it was my main team this fight would be no problem, but because the game unequips your tacticals at the end of act 1 and doesnt re-equip them to your centerions im forced into an impossible situation due to bad luck

1, there are two saves on ironman, one is a kinda backup few minutes apart - you can try moving the newer one to another folder and force the game to load the backup instead (you might need to disconnect your PC from the internet before loading the game, otherwise it might just take the latest save from the cloud)
2, you can try and post your save somewhere, maybe some hardcore players give it a try, win the battle and send the post-battle save back to you. :)
