How do you make denari?

Hi,

Im in act 1 i believe, have to conquer minor asia.
My legio is 2k people approx but the opponent has 3k+ for the last piece of terriotory. I need more men. How to proceed?! I need denari I suppose. But how can I make denari? I already complety all subquests and did all maps pois. I don't understand how I can farm stuff in this game once you're done with all of that.

best option is to trade in your camp. there are couple regions with repeatable legion quests to take slaves for money.
you capture those slaves, then sell them for denarii back at camp. There's no time limit so you can do those quests however long you like. I basically conquered most regions, and just did those slave/ration/meds quests and sold it back at camp, easily got myself around 30k, and then continued doing same thing in act 2 etc., never ran out of any resourse)

There're missions like that in Mysia and Nikaia regions. They're named "Legion Mission" and look like standarts (flags) with icon of resource on a campaign map.

First set 1 Pretorian in your tent to recruit new troops. That helps, and then sell slaves or medicine to get more denari.

Buying low selling high. There are Arrows in the markte if a trade good is scarce or there is a surplus. You can buy if surplus and sell if scarce.

Arbitrage opportunities will be limited when the only shop is the trader in your camp. Also, legion missions will always be cheaper than the trader so just do those missions and sell whatever you get at whatever price you can get.

This deep economic simulation is not at all a waste of your time and I totally would not recommend using a hex editor to just add 100000 denarii to your balance.

That is true, there some in the temple of Athena and in the fishing village troas

There is also hunting ground. and legion missions. You can farm medicine, slave, denari and rations and sell on the market. And usually prices in this game for items are relatively cheap.
