Herding Cats
Where are all the cats in "Herding Cats"????? I've found 5 , but where is 6?

Is it a quest? In act 2? Or just the effect of the medalion?

The best to way to find all six is to turn on the highlighting (they do show up as highlighted, though they're admittedly small) and just cruise around the parts of the city you can. I think one is on a roof somewhere if I remember right, so watch for that.

It's near the end of act 2, you are asked to go to Memphis by Raia (think that's her name, priestess of the cat god) to talk over a way to sabotage the pharaoh. After you complete that quest you can return to the temple and pick up the Herding cats one.

As for the cat locations i found 3 tricky to find, even with highlight on. One beside a dock behind the temple, one up where the Pharaoh had been during his rant, and one down where the crowd was hidden between some tents. The rest seemed easy to find so don't recall those spots.

you can press Alt to get highlight of all intractable object and just walk around to see them

If you have the cats(all 3) from the Palace of Alexandria you only need 3 cats to collect here in Memphis to complete the quest.

The quest reward is some xp.

Maybe I'm merely stupid, but after a damn hour roaming around all the city I still cannot find the last cat :-(

Do you have the cats from the meeting between Pharoh and Cleo? You should have found 3 cats there. And 3 cats in Memphis for this quest and you are set.
1. Cat near where you meet the Pharoh during the lions quest
2. Cat on a dock near the Temple of Bubastis where you get this quest
3. Cat on a rooftop on a building in the corner of the city.
And you can complete this cat quest with only this cats. You don't need all 6 of them.

And check docks directly behind the cat temple.
But I said you need only 3. 3 cats you can collect from Pharoh palace during meeting of him and Cleo.

I never found any cats I could gather from the Palace. But I didn't have the quest at that point.

The bigger problem is the quest autofails for me when I accept it. I can find the cats in town, and the priestess offers it but I can't turn it in. I'm guessing you have to do it right after the event in town or at least before you're up to the siege at alexandria.

Bleh. I'll have go lose about 3 hours of gameplay if I go back to my nearest save before that.
