How to heal critical injury

so this is regarding the infamous Chimera encounter in act 1.

The main character will always get critical injury if you want the reward for this encounter which is worth it, not going to spoil. Problem is my MC stays with the critical injury forever. the healing time stays as infinite and no matter what type of healer i use (doctor or Physician).

anyone else has this issue, maybe not with this encounter but any other critical injury for MC and how long it took to heal. maybe i am not getting the mechanics behind critical injury. please help.

You have to put him in one of the three healing spots available in your legion camp.

As above, some injuries are bad enough that you need to put them in your infirmary tent from your outpost. In fact, I would recommend doing that with nearly all injuries unless the time to heal from within your group is pretty small and you know you'll be out away from the outpost for longer than that amount of time.

normally i have Syneros and one doctor and one physician each and was using them to heal up the team. completely missed the healing option inside camp. thanks for the pointer.

What is the Chimera special reward?

You learn the Fire Resist affix for gear
