"Could not load WinG!" Error, when starting the game

As the title says, I get the error "could not load WinG!" when I try to open the game.
Any possible solution? First of all, thank you

Little late on the reply here, but I had the same issue (though with the GOG version) and I solved it by reinstalling the game to C:\Program Files rather than on the separate drive I normally keep my games on.

Hopefully that works for you and anyone else who might be having this issue.

For me it worked when I ran the game as admin.
