There is something called Options Menu where you can play all you want in order to reach "SATISFACTION"
Using New DirectX is bringing not only graphic goodies but also a lot of optimisations that can give FPS Boost if used right. (Multithreading and whatnot)
DX11 is great and can bring a lot, but DX12 and Vulkan are better.
If you want to bring your game to the consoles and PC and have a great scalling in regard to performance DX11 is falling short.
ForgeLight engine is old and Daybreak just laid off a lot of ppl.
It Could be that they don't have the financial freedom to push for better, but
i hope they will eventually.
