Hey Taul, we've just found this out as well, we we're told by some users that running as admin worked, so we put out that message. Later we saw that running as admin doesn't register which version of windows you're on properly, so the voice stopped working. Hope to be fixing this loading issue very soon so it doesn't effect the speech recognition. I'd try running the game not as admin again and see if the next levels will load fine. I'll keep you posted on the patch/ update. Cheers, Blake
Glad to hear, and yes hoping to fix this very soon!
Awesome game by the way such amazing attention to detail
Hi Dragon, Thanks for letting us know this! We've some issues with certain Windows Versions (Cortana Versions) that make the voice recognition not work between scenes (but only sometimes). We're having trouble figuring out what's going on. If you restart your computer though it should start working again. I'll let you know if we figure out the issue.
And thanks! Yeah tried to make the game as life-like as possible, making sure every interaction works as it would in real life. Talk soon, Blake
Hi Emperorvoid, Sorry to hear you're having issues with the speech recognition. Just to give you some context about how it works (which may help), is that we listen for every 3-4 words in a sentence and if it's able to recognize one word it will highlight all of those words. The problem occurs when it lags behind and your saying new words correctly but it's still looking for the previous 3-4 word sections. I do believe you could get through the dialogue by saying a key word every 3-4 words. That may make it easier and is similar to what you mentioned about only recognizing certain words. (Although, you'll need to say the first 3 words correct in order to choose one dialogue over the other) Thank-you for letting us know about your issues though, hopefully I can improve it in the future like you mentioned. Thanks, Blake
