What is Early Access meant to be and how does this game violate Steam's Early Access rules?

Early access means you have a working game that just needs few more things to complete a full release. You must have a playable game first before early access.

Early access is not a "investment" which may fail... Early access is buying a game before it is finalized for a discount.

The Early Access system is not a fundraising platform. The Steam Early Access rules expressly state this. You MUST have funding to complete and release the full game.

At the time of the games Steam release, all of the requirements were pretty much met and development was pretty active.
Its only after Earth2 bought out the developers that development stopped completely.

Last thing we heard from the folks over at E2 is that they are looking for new developers to finish the game, since they need the old devs to make their sh*tty "metaverse" for them...
