What version's better: PS2-Wii or PS3-PC?
Your thoughts?

I think gameplay wise the PS2 was better.... and even controls seemed more comfortable. Though lo-o-ong loading times and cartoony visuals sucked.

I like that there is two versions of the same game, it's like one of 'em is from parallel world and you can beat one game with different experience (i didn't beat ps2 version)

As crazy as it soundsd, I think I liked the Wii version better (although both were awesome). In the HD version, your teammates are constantly falling over, and needing to be revived, whereas they could handle themselves in the Wii game, which made for a less frustrating experience.

If only my PS2 stopped to scratch CDs or PS3 had backward compitability, i'd beaten this game. Heck, it's so lame that even PS4 can't play PS2 discs.

Absolutely LOVED the Wii version for the kathartic ghost-slamming controls alone, but I've always been curious about how this one varied. It'll either be better or not as good, but what I'm hoping for is that I didn't just make a $10 bet that busting still makes one feel good.

I loved the PS3 and PC versions. The PC more so as it has better FX graphics. ( I thought both were the same till i was shooting walls and saying"Hey wheres the glowing embers?".

I played this on xbox 360. I imagine that you will find that graphical quality will improve up to the pc but the controls will always be a little odd. My guess in order of graphical qualitity would be ps2, wii, xbox 360, ps3, pc.

I have the Wii version and the PC (steam) versions. I took a while for me to learn that when a game is released on several platforms including the Wii, the Wii version is nothing like the other versions. the same is true for the Wii version of this game. it story has a sizable deviation from the PC version. I am assuming the PS3 and xb360 versions are almost an exact dupliucate of the PC version. I am aware that the console versions also have an MP feature. this too is missing from the wii version. also the wii versions graphics are cartoony.

To be clear for some people not in the know, there are basically two games titled "Ghostbusters: The Video Game":

The "Realistic" version: PC, PS3, Xbox 360
The "Animated" version: PS2, Wii, PSP

Both gameplay content and visuals are different. I believe the animated version gives you a choice of gender & features some different bosses from its realistic counterpart.

yeah it is. I for one, prefer the realistic version (PC). Wii versions of games that are released for other consoles and/or pc have been a constant dissappointment. I have since learned to only get games that are only released for the Wii platform. since i learned to stick to Mario, zelda, etc. titles for the Wii, i have not been dissapointed. hopefully the Wii U's more powerful processor/graphics and 1080p capability will break that trend

I'd say both the Wii and PC / 360 (as PS3 had visual issues) are equal as both are good for different reasons.

The Wii version has co-op play which is awesome, pure and simple. Also the Wii controls are good and make you feel like you're using a Proton pack. Again not a bad thing. This also feels like a sequel to The Real Ghostbusters animated series and that is not a bad thing at all.

While the PC/360 version is very cinematic like like an interactive Movie and is also fun to play though.

Both differ a bit in the plot a little and both let you hang with the Ghostbusters. Both versions were a labor of love to the fans which says a lot to some of the other Movie based games out there.

Both are pretty much Ghostbusters 3 which is also not a bad thing.

You can play Ghostbusters: The Video Game Wii edition in HD with either the PC Dolphin Emulator and I believe on the Wii U. There is also HDMI Wii upconverters that do 1080P but it will only make it look a little sharper.

The PSP version of the game from what I heard was lame and Sanctum Of Slime was crap. The PS2 version was the Wii version without the motion controls and the PS3 version had crappy visuals because devs had issues with PS3 ports a lot of times.

As much as I know this will piss many sony fans off, but the truth was that more often the 360 had the superior version of games. That rumor of the PS3 being a ♥♥♥♥♥ to develop for must of had some truth to it.

I just bought this game specifically to make up for the massive dissapointment that was the PS2 version. While the cartoony look was acceptable (I did grow up oon TRGB and EGB after all) the game simply does not work. Infinite load times are a regularity, as are random crashes and freezes. It should never have been put on store shelves.

I have heard that this version is vastly superior in every regard, especially the technical aspects. For five bucks, I'll take this second chance to enjoy the game.

The Wii version (better than PS2 version. Plus Co-op) and PC version (sharper visuals plus tweaks to make it look even better.) are the best. (Multiplayer on PS3 and 360 were ok at best.)

For different reasons both are good and worth owning.

speaking as someone who owns both the wii and pc versions, i prefer the pc version for both graphics, and storyline. the storine for the wii version has some major differences. the hotel level on the wii sucks compare to the pc.
