NEW FIX FOR PEOPLE PLAYING GHOSTBUSTERS AGAIN
after seeing the remastered version getting released i though i would see if i can give a few tips for people on steam on how to get your game running smooth and as good as you can so here you go.

1.on nividia control panel go to 3d settings on the ghostbusters game and set triple buffering to on and v-sync to fast this stops the screen tearing and gives you as many fps as possible without being locked.

2.increase the games smoothness
Start the game.
Ctrl+Alt+Del as soon as game starts to load.
In the Task Manager under" Applications" select Ghostbusters and change the priority to "low"

3.and to stop the horrible mouse lag is simple.
go to settings in game and go to gameplay and turn of assisted targeting feels about 90% better

with these few tips you should have a decent game to relive your dreams of a ghostbuster

p.s if you have the steam original version, dont bother buying it the only thing that has changed is the cut scenes and a few textures ,its more for consoles

and also if your using nvidia use dsr,i can get 4k resolution in game and the textures look sharp as hell.

hope this helps you out

Thanks. I don't see the new Ghostbusters on Steam. Is it exclusive for other platforms?

It's exclusive to the Epic Games Store, (for now) but as the TC said, it honestly doesn't look much better than this version, and you can still get Steam Keys for this version in old retail copies, so if you don't already own it on steam, you still can, and for a lot less money than if you buy the HD Remastered version elsewhere.
Alternatively, you can get the Amazon Download Version for $9.99, then simply add it to your Steam Library just like any other non-Steam release, which there's really no downside to since this game lacks Achievements or online multiplayer on Steam to begin with.

If you want to run the game higher then 60hz you need to use Special K this site tells you how to set it up and some other settings you can change, the game fps can only go as high as 120fps tho.
