Good game but for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason it keeps crashing

Giving this game a positive review despite it being very buggy because the concept is interesting and I'm hoping it'll be fixed one day...

Positives:
+ it's fun to solve crimes and piece things together with the case board and forensic evidence
+ procedurally generated city, citizens, and cases
+ cool atmosphere
+ modding encouraged (sort of)
+ although very incomplete, what is there feels promising
+ pretty cool backstory/world

Negatives:
- despite having minimal graphics, and despite turning the resolution down to a level I have not experienced since 2004, this game eats up A LOT of CPU (any time I've been playing for more than 15 minutes and it starts raining, the game goes down to about 1 FPS)
- I say "modding encouraged (sort of)" because although there is a mod menu built into the game, I have never once used it, none of the mods I've used (babbler, more_murder_cyphers, RealEstateCruncherApp, HoursOfOperations, Case_Board_WASD-Controls) are available through it
- often times NPCS don't show up to work despite their schedule, resulting in being unable to locate/arrest suspects
- lots of items, places, that feel incomplete

This is list is by no means complete. All in all I've had a lot of fun being a homeless detective, figuring out the location of a sniper's nest just using the bullet hole and deduction, accidentally uncovering more incriminating evidence after I've finished a case linking the suspect to higher-up folks within the world, and feeling absolutely insane about it. The possibilities are really endless here as far as immersive sims go and I really look forward to seeing it mutate and hopefully become more stable.

Love this game it just keeps getting better and better. It is a must play if you want to feel like Sherlock or even Batman the world's best detectives
