Pawn shop suddenly needs a password?

I went to the pawn shop to sell some goods, but when I ask to buy something they say I need a password? They also don't give me an option to enter anything. Is this a bug or a bugged update?

I think I figured out what went wrong. Going to leave this in case anyone else runs into the same problem.

I checked the fingerprint of the shopkeeper and found that they were the person I was looking for to take a photo of. I took their photo, handed in the case, and went back to the pawn shop. They no longer asked for a password.

I'm assuming this is a bug related to having an open case that involves them somehow.

tho it may have worked in your case, certainly didnt for me, tried the only 2 pawn shops I have, both ask for password, got rid of my case (which wasnt them anyway) and it still didnt work for either :/
