How does game length actually work?
Like, in the settings? You can change the game length, but like, what does that mean? More time between murders? More reputation points to retire?

It exclusively changes the "social credit" bar on the right.

There's no gameplay impact, really, aside from the amount of cases you need to complete before you can retire. If the game length is short, you can retire after just a few social credit levels.

The longer the game setting the more perks you can unlock with the social credit levels.
