Help finding a target
I'm working on a theft side job. The target info I was given was the target's height, job title, blood type, and handwriting sample. All of this info is fairly unhelpful...unless I'm missing something, which I probably am.

Does anybody have any ideas on how to find this target? So far, I've been using the job title (QA Technician) and going door-to-door at office companies, digging through their employment records to see who their QA Technician is, and then comparing that record to the target to see if it matches, but this is a slog because the employee record doesn't contain their blood type or a handwriting sample; just a rough height.

If you already have all the QA Technician names, could trace it back to their apartments to look at their other documents. Don't know how big your map is, but on small that is only 9 different visits.

Additionally, if you know the drop off address you can look into them and see if any of their contacts include a QA Technician to narrow it down.

The method is just going office to office, looking at their employee files as you have been, or by looking at the photos on the wall.

The Dove+ SyncDisk can give you their height simply from looking at a photo of them, or in person of course.

But the employee records do contain a handwritten signature. It just doesn't tell you what the type is, so you have to eyeball it.

Afraid I'm on a very large map. Filled up a good portion of my case board just with the companies that start with letters A-I in the city directory, and that's already 16 different companies. Also no, I don't have all the QA Technician names. If I did, I'd be done already.

Yeah, don't have Dove+ yet. It hasn't come up as a reward. As for the written signature, type I and type J are too similar (at least to me) to eyeball it.

I still think there has to be an easier way of doing this, though.

No, there isn't. Find every QA tester and check them against the other data you have.

Yeah, it wasn't fun. It also wasn't cheap. I even tried seeing if I could find out who the job giver was, because the target and the job giver usually have some kind of relationship (neighbors, coworkers, etc.), but this was one of those jobs where you have to ask a restaurant employee about the job, and then they give you a photo that directs you to a dead drop. As a result, I had absolutely no info about the job giver and could not find them.

Once I resigned myself to doing the door-to-door thing, I searched probably between 30-40 offices before I found the target's employee file. Wound up paying around $700 for guest passes, because it's faster (and safer) to search during the day. You can even get employees to unlock locked doors for you if you knock on the door you want unlocked. As long as you have a guest pass, they won't mind you being in restricted areas.

For anybody else who gets stuck searching offices door-to-door, if an office has a storeroom, the employee records will be in a filing cabinet in there. If the office does not have a storeroom, the next room to check is the surveillance room. Again, if they're in there, they'll be in a filing cabinet. If they're not there either, then check filing cabinets out in the general work area. I did have one office spawn without records, so it is possible that an office doesn't have them.

I haven't seen an office spawn without employee files. Sometimes they're in a random office cubical's bottom drawer as well.

Rather, the only places that don't seem to have any employee files are like the industrial plant 1st floor and the industrial plant canteen. Well, and street vendors if you want to count them. Though I have had the employee wall photos not spawn in an office.

I mean that's literally the point. Every case is solvable, it just comes down to how much effort you want to put into it.

If you don't feel like going door to door than just close the case and find a new one that doesn't need as much effort.
