Fingerprint Database?

Im in the Cityhall in the Alpha Enforcer Rooms. Is there some Database i can look for other than Names of People? Fotos, Fingerprints? Something like that?

Most businesses contain employee records on file, in file cabinets specifically, that contain a ton of information about their workers.

But otherwise, no. It's searching on computers or looking at photos on walls in businesses, or directly going into their homes and ransacking it.

Go onto any government computer, click Gov Database, search by name.

Now i got the Victims Appartment. Found this written on the Wall

What does it mean? Any clues where i can search for it? Also i found 1 Fingerprint not belonging to the victim called "AM". How to stick that finding to the case?

To match prints, you pretty much go to their workplace and check their prints, or check neighbors or people in their address book.

Otherwise, track down the sales of weapons that match the murder weapon wounds. Or check CCTV.

There is no database you can search by prints (though there really should be).

Best you can do is scan around for prints and try to match it up with other clues to find someone else's place to scan and find matching prints. Like if you talk to people and they say they saw someone running away, try to piece that together.

Or you could just go for super easy mode, and go through the government database.
Type in space followed by a letter. So <space>A, <space>B, etc...
That will give you a list of everyone with a last name starting with that letter. You can literally just print out every citizen's info, which will give you most of their personal data, including fingerprints. Which will make any case where prints are left behind immediately solved. lol

i suppose if there was a print database the game would be super easy though. You'd literally just find the print that doesnt belong to the victim or who they live with, search there print, search there name to get an address and then go arrest them. And you'd be able to do that with every case

True. It could have a timer set to it. So you submit the print but have to wait a day or two to get a result?

I found the Body of the Victim and some bullets on the ground. But it only says time of death and not what killed the victim. I have a suspect on CCTV bevore the murder and she bought Bullets somewhere too. I have the bill.

But where to look for the Murder Weapon or get the cause of death? In her Appartment is no Weapon

Solved the case but my Evidenvce where really thin. Couldnt find the Murder Weapon or the cause of death. Not very satisfing.

Now i got a New Case i cant think of solving it.

I need to Arrest someone. I only have a Fingerprint and the N-Initial on his Forename and Footprints. The NOte says that there is a outsourced Arrest from "Denis Hugo" but i couldnt find the Name on the Citzien and Enforcer Worker Database

That Denis Hugo is generic indeed. Sometimes you will find the requestor in the details tab of the note.

So this is a dead end? Cant find him in any Database of my Town.

Is everyone in this town registered? Or are some not?

What should i do now? Any Suggestions?

Go through the address book and flag anyone with a name starting with N. Then look them up in the gov't database. You'll get fingerprints and make a perfect match.

I can almost confirm that this does not always work. Firstly, the game might bug out and I'd have to click on exit on the cruncher, before trying the next set of letters.

Secondly, when I knew who was working at a particular place, I typed out the letter just as you mentioned. A space, followed by a letter, and that name never came up. I had to type two letters to get that citizen's name to show up on the cruncher.

When you start a new letter, make sure you scroll back up to the top. Because the screen is still down on the page the last letter ended on. So if you've had 10 pages of A names, when you enter B, you have to click up 10 times to make sure you're at the top again.

But yes, it does work, and you'll get the profiles on every single citizen.
