fix for main story?

Im on a new play through and I solved the "tutorial" murder early. im told to go back to my apartment but nothing happens after that. it doesnt tell me to find that one person that is supposed to help you. anyone have this before and is there a way to force it to progress?

When you say nothing happens when you go back to your apartment, what do you mean exactly? do you not get evicted? are you evicted but you don't get the hint to speak to the union person? Even if you don't get the hint, I'm pretty sure you have a post it note in your apt somewhere that tells you about them. maybe find that and give them a call?

I think the tutorial is only for solving that crime, after that city goes random and with lots of side missions bugs

When you say nothing happens when you go back to your apartment, what do you mean exactly? do you not get evicted? are you evicted but you don't get the hint to speak to the union person? Even if you don't get the hint, I'm pretty sure you have a post it note in your apt somewhere that tells you about them. maybe find that and give them a call?

Cant get her phone number easily, but
The tape is up at my apartment, but i can enter without being marked as a trespasser. all the furntiture is gone. i went to see the person but they dont have any dialogue to progress things. I cant archive the first murder case either, cause it says i cant close it at this time. but I already handed it in.

Thats kind of what I thought but I wasnt sure if any missions after the first one would be curated. i love the game but its just a lil too buggy for me at the moment perhaps

Sounds like whatever flag is supposed to be triggered when you go back to your apt hasn't triggered so the game thinks you've not went back there yet.

I worked fine when I got to that part.
Did you do the tutorial case on the curated map, or did you choose to do a procedural map?

Other than going back to the apt a few times to see if it triggers I don't really have a fix for you, but the more info you can give, the easier it would be for the dev to solve.

I guess Im weary to give a play by play because I dont want to spoil anything but then again the game is supposed to be procedural after the fact anyhow. I think I just managed to bug it out by cheesing the case and going straight to the home of V. and arresting them. Then after solving it I went to talk to Kiara cause I managed to save her lol and then warned her about the murderer even though she was already arrested. So definitely a lot of opportunities to cause issues I imagine
