Today I learned: You can get loans!

I was aware Loan Shark offices existed, but never had a purpose to go into them, since- As we all know- Illegal business workers never go to work after their first shift ends. But I was looking around, and surprise surprise: You actually can get a loan from them to the tune of 2000 credits, with 125 credits due every day on top, and an enforcer sent to collect if you don't pay up.

This is actually kind of a good deal... Because, as we all know, illegal business workers never go to work after their first shift ends. While this bug is in effect, if you DO manage to catch the illegal sync clinic worker present, then it's worth getting a quick loan to buy all the disks, and do some quick burgling to pay it off.

And if the sync clinic ISN'T open on the first day, you might as well burn the save and try again. It's just too useful to give up for a save.

I wonder if they'll actually show up again if the employees never go in to work? Let's find out! I got the money to pay them back if they do.

That save corrupted. Oh well. I guess I'll find out one of these days, maybe, assuming the devs ever fix the work issue.

I don't think not being able to abuse a glitch to generate large amounts of money on the first day is worth deleting a save. Working up the money to pay for things like Sync Disks and an apartment is part of the game. It's the reason you do side-jobs, to make money.

That's not what I meant at all. Really, the opposite. I might use it if they glitch *gets fixed*, because then I'll actually have an impetus to earn money quickly on the first day. But if the glitch isn't fixed, then I *don't need* a loan. You get me?

I don't delete the save because the loans aren't available. It's not about the money, it's about sending a mess- I mean, about what the money is good for. I delete the save if the black market clinic isn't available. If it's glitched into not being available then you lose so much QOL then you might as well restart since it takes all of 10 minutes into a save to confirm if you're good or not.
