But you always can try to call last caller detector, find number, find power room in the basement with phone switches, detect from which building call was made, go to the that building, break in another power room, detect from which phone call been made, go to the security room, watch security footage and try to detect caller...
Or simply - just wait a while. Often calls are made at public call booths, which can't be traced (or at least, I do not find how yet), there can be no security room or proper cam footage.
Once I come to the crime scene right at the moment of the report of it after tracing that call, but that gave to me a clue because the call was made from dinnery in the same building, I can't say "it's worth it", but not totally worthless either.
